-Describe the distribution of settlement (The settlement type: Workers’ quarters, huts and buildings. The settlement location: Which part of the region, direction. What kind of feature is it build near on: Like river, railway tracks, quarries(Mining place), Settlement pattern: Linear, disperse, clutters)

-Explain the distribution of settlement (Near roads/rail/track – Accessbility. Near rivers/source of water for domestic use/ irrigation. Near mine/quarries/cultivation – Accessibility (For workers of those places). Gentle relieves- Ease of construct and possibility for future expansion)

-Explain the distribution of cultivation (Gentle relief- Well drained, easy to use farm machines. Presence of river- Source of water for irrigation. Soil rich in alluvium. Rivers are dammed. Reservoir to provide additional water supply for irrigation. Presence of roads or railway to facilitate transport of produce to markets, Presence of sparse bush- easy clearance for settlement.)
